Do I need a referral for a psychology session?
No, a referral is not required to see one of Hazel's psychologists. You can simply book an appointment online at a time that suits you. Our team is here to provide direct support for your mental health needs, whether you're managing stress, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. If you ever feel the need for additional support or a different type of care, we can also provide referrals to other specialists when necessary.
Can I get a mental health care plan through Hazel?
Yes, you can get a Mental Health Care Plan through Hazel. To do this, book a medical appointment with a Hazel GP. For those eligible, this plan can provide access to Medicare rebates for certain mental health services like psychology at Hazel.
If you already have a regular GP, you can request a Mental Health Care Plan from them and connect with a Hazel psychologist. Our psychologists collaborate with your GP to ensure your care remains seamless, connected, and tailored to your needs.
